Is it better to fly or drive from Tbilisi?+
There's a small plane Tbilisi–Mestia that's quick but weather-dependent and often cancelled. A private transfer always runs and lets you stop along the way — many people fly one direction and drive the other.
Can we split the drive over two days?+
Yes. Some travelers overnight in Kutaisi or Zugdidi to break up the 7–8 hours. We can plan the transfer around that.
